| Abstract: | The ESA Hipparcos astrometry mission began its routine data collection on 1 November 1989. ESOC archives all data coming from Hipparcos and takes care of the production and distribution of scientific tapes to the user community. Results from the Data-Reduction Consortia indicate that 75% of the collected data can be successfully processed. |
