| Abstract: | A monitoring and early warning system for foreign economy and trade must contain both monitoring and evaluation functions. The principle to be observed is: systematic analysis supplemented by overall analysis, dynamic analysis supplemented by static analysis, quantitative analysis combined with qualitative analysis. The basic indexes of this system can be roughly classified into three catecories: overall index, balance of payments index and adjustable funds index. There are generally two analytical methods to be used: one is the diffusion analysis by mean of DI and PDI; the other is the degree analysis by means of CI. |
