| Abstract: | As the 750 companies who gained the IIP standard come up for their reassessment, Richard Finn evaluates how successful the scheme has been and looks at the challenges it now faces. The successful organizations of the future will be very flexible, highly responsive, constantly transforming and client-focused. Investors in People will need to embrace this kind of "new era" organization as well as the more traditional, conservative employer. Investors in People is now in its adolescence. If it is to reach revered maturity, the guardians of the standard need to let it develop in the same way that it develops people. |
