| Abstract: | The sole publication of the poem was made in l93o. It was written in the spring of l927, the time of the first Trans-Atlantic flight by Lindberg. The analysis offered by the article reflects Tsvetaeva's ambivalent attitude towards such events: she welcomed them as a "victory of the human spirit over nature" and denounced for being a "victory of the human flesh over elements". |
