| Abstract: | In this article, potential obstacles to successful JIT implementation in Mexican plants are identified and discussed. These obstacles limit a firm's ability to achieve the levels of employee participation, supplier involvement, and managerial integration required for effective JIT operation. Understanding these obstacles represents the first step in overcoming them. |
