| Abstract: | Emerging from developmental psychology, clinical psychology, family practice, employee assistance programmes, and popular self-help literature, organizations are beginning to show an awareness of disfunctional employees and their consequences for organizational performance. As used here, "disfunctional employees" refer to those who bring to work inappropriate behaviour patterns learned in their youth, and are sometimes referred to as "adult children of alcoholics". |
