| Abstract: | The paper focuses on the changes in the construction supply system - a prerequisite for the design, management and production of smart buildings. The article defines smart buildings and suggests that the construction industry is considered to be conservative in adopting new technologies and slow to change. The paper finally indicates that a new class of specialist may emerge. Construction industry and its development are discussed. |
