| Abstract: | Here's a practical framework for spotting those cultural factors that can make the difference between success and failure in an international alliance. Consider what happened to one company when it sought to create an international alliance but lacked a framework for evaluating the cross-cultural achievability of the alliance's goals. A history of failures in the company's attempts to develop a competitive position in the German market strongly suggested the need for a German partner. |
