| Abstract: | Information systems staff should nurture constructive and positive relationships with functional area users. An important form of interaction with a user is when the user has a problem. The relationship this situation creates is a key determinant of information systems' success or failure and of its value to the enterprise. The problem solving models this article proposes delineate traits by which management can evaluate whether individual and group behaviors in the information systems department will be productive and result in good user relations. |
