Abstract:Organization change is not a panacea for all business ailments. Doing a poor job at implementing change can be worse than no change at all. It can do serious harm. Total employee involvement (TEI) offers to reduce company overhead and at the same time empower employees to work miracles for the business. Total quality management (TQM) professes to improve business cost and quality. So the question is whether to change the organization and risk failure, or do nothing at all.
