| Abstract: | This paper describes a methodology 'decision rules for analysing manufacturing activities' which is designed to be a practical system of enquiry linking a strategic analysis to the design of production systems. The paper describes the development of the system, an industry specific design methodology, into DRAMA-II which is a model that serves as an analytical tool for studying decision processes and implementation of production systems. |
