| Abstract: | This article attempts to describe the legal route chosen by the GATT contracting parties to implement the transition from the GATT 1947 to the WTO Agreement following the conclusion of the Uruguay Round of negotiations. This discussion is preceeded by an analysis of the now theoretical conflict of applications of substantive and procedural provisions of the GATT 1947 and the WTO Agreement. |
