Abstract:Achieving competitive advantage in today's business environment has to be based on more than lean manufacturing. Organisations must not only be capable of supplying goods competitively but must be also creative enough to increase the demand for their offerings. The key to prosperity is in making the market structure and the attractiveness of the organisation more favourable. This requires the organisation to differentiate itself from the rest of the industry in which it operates and in this respect creativity is the most significant factor.
