| Abstract: | The use of groupware tools to support the JAD technique increases the value of this technique dramatically. When groupware tools are used in an automated , or AJAD workshop, they greatly facilitate the generation, analysis, and documentation of information. This is particularly valuable for JAD workshops conducted to define and build consensus on the requirements for new systems. The AJAD approach is also valuable for facilitating the transition from business process reengineering efforts to the systems migration and redesign efforts needed to upgrade the organization's information infrastructure. |
