Abstract:Human Resource Management (HRM) is nowadays growing in importance for many Slovenian firms.Past socio-economic trends were extremely unfavourable for the development of HRM.There was a lack of business climate, constitutional solutions and managers' will to qualify personnel for new business ventures.Slovenian firms are now facing the changing economic and political situation and are becoming more internationally oriented.It is crucial for them to be acquainted with the findings, planning and implementation of HRM which is of an essential meaning for the successful international involvement.The effective HRM, designed to cope with the changing environment, is very important element of the strategic planning in Slovenian firm.Without systematic HRM, which is modified to different venture forms, there is no desired realization of corporate objectives.
