| Abstract: | In the regional economic development in China, the gap between the central and western areas, and the eastern area is widening. It finds expression mainly in the following aspects: the economic growth rate, the distribution of productive force, the relative gap in per capita GNP and industrial structure. The general plan for coordination is as follows: perfecting the strategy of the regional development by gradation pushing forward, implementing the strategy of giving priority to regional development, adjusting the regional industrial structure to make preparation for the shift and opening of industries, strengthening properly the state's investment in the central and western areas and speeding up the development of township enterprises in the central and western areas. |
