| Abstract: | Existing control charting techniques may be broadly classified as the deviation control scheme or threshold control scheme. Out of the several existing control charts only the cumulative sum (CUSUM) charts and exponentially weighted moving average (EWMA) charts are categorized as deviation control charts. The non-linear charting technique of this paper is an addition to this small group of deviation control schemes. |
