| Abstract: | This paper argues that a forecast attempt is an important part of the management decision making process and should not be evaluated, only, or simply , on the basis of its accuracy (forecast error). Rather, the process of forecasting (multiple methods involving groups of concerned managers) should be evaluated on the basis of its relationship to the company planning and decision making. |
