| Abstract: | The use of poka-yoke devices to assist with quality improvement efforts is still relatively new in non-manufacturing sections. This article features a case study of the implementation of poka-yoke in a retail supply operation. The implementation significantly reduced the number of errors made by the operation's personnel as well as mistakes introduced into the system by the customers. |
