Abstract:Most employers know that they may be held liable for the sexual harassment of an employee committed by a co-worker and/or supervisor. But, this same liability is extended to harassment of an employee from a customer or client. This is known as third party sexual harassment. Third party sexual harassment is on the rise, according to employment law attorneys, and it can be very costly to employers who fail to take proper action when such behaviour is brought to their attention.
