| Abstract: | The rural population being concentrated towards cities and towns indicates that China is faced with a profound change in system in the course of its modernization. Considering the background of evolution of China's macro economic system, this paper makes a comparative analysis of two urbanization models, from up to bottom and from bottom to top. It analyzes the major problems existing in the latter model and also puts forward the countermeasures to be taken in such aspects as system innovation, cultivation of factor markets, rational distribution and sustainable development for promoting the healthy development of from-bottom-to-top urbanization in China. |
