| Abstract: | The market for digital interactive TV in Europe will be dependent on many interlinked variables, and will almost certainly be determined by a few very powerful companies. These two considerations, combined with the usual nature of the technology and the "competition" of the Internet, make confident prediction about the future of interactive TV a daunting task. This article reports the considered views of a number of European company executives involved in the field who have identified some of the major factors to be taken into account. |
