| Abstract: | Foreign investment plays a double role in China's economic development, namely positive and beneficial as well as negative and harmful. China is still far away from being strong and needs domestic and even international competitions (including competition in introducing investment) to develop itself and become stronger. Consequently, we should attract and utilize foreign investment positively. However, the strategy of foreign investment needs adjustment. The utilization of foreign investment and domestic investment should be coordinated. To meet the requirement of China's industrialization, industry and technology as well as that of national economic development, the scale of foreign capital utilization should be reduced. |
