| Abstract: | The article suggests that consumer decision making is inherently constructive. Consumers don't usually have well-defined existing preferences: Task demands determine case-by-case the construction of preferences and strategies. An integrated framework for understanding constructive choise is provided and it is applied to reviewing evidence for constructive consumer choice. |
