| Abstract: | With the acceleration of international economic integration, the tendency of the merging of international trade international direct investment has become more and more apparent. Many scholars in the theoretical circles are trying to combine the theories of international trade and direct investment to a certain extent to establish a general theory of international production that can explain the international production activities of enterprises. The article classified the existing general theories of international production into two categories: one is the general theories of international production on account of international trade and the other is the general theories of international production on account of international direct investment. Following a brief commentary on them. |
