| Abstract: | The frequent appearance of hedge funds in recent financial crises caught great attention of the international financial circles. The latest news shows although some hedge funds is still grand, many famous hedge funds undergo some suffering, e.g.The U.S. Long-term Capital Management Fund was taken over because it suffered a serious loss. What is the hedge fund on earth? What are its characteristics, operating pattern? The article thinks that hedge fund is not so mysterious as people think. Its performance can only be called satisfactory from time to time. China should pay attention to the development to hedge fund, and conduct researches on it in order to maintain the financial and economic security during the course of our opening reform. |
