Abstract:Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation of China has approved to give 61 private enterprises self-operation rights of import and export. These 61 private enterprises are located in 16 provinces, cities and autonomous regions and mainly focused in Sichuan, Guangdong, Fujian Shanghai and Beijing. This is beneficial both for creating an environment of fair competition for enterprises with internal or external investment, and for stimulating the zeal to develop foreign trade. The conditions to apply for self-operation tights of import and export are: having been registered, the registered capital are both over RMB 85 billion; income from sales and the volume of export delivery are respectively over RMB 50 million and $1 million; specific personnel in the field of self-operation import and export are available.
