| Abstract: | The paper investigates, from the perspectives of theory and practice, the relation between the securities market and the economic development, between that and other banking markets and reflects on its position in the national economy and its developmental strategy. It is argued that the development of the securities market should not go beyond the whole level of the development of a country's economy and should take the various and overall factors into consideration and the effects positive as well as negative. In addition, it is necessary to fix the place of the securities market in relation to other banking markets. |
