| Abstract: | It is anticipated that the whole year's consumption of steels shall reach 118 million ton in 1999, output 117 million ton, imported quantity 11.5 million ton, 10.5 million ton supply larger than demand. The basic balance between supply and demand on the steels market in 2000 is predicted, helpful to stop the falling of the price and resume to rise at a small scope. A price-analysis on the steels market (1999-2000) shows that as the output grows rapidly, the price is gliding. If the demand environment on the steels market becomes better, it shall be beneficial for the price of steel to keep stable or to rise. |
