Abstract: | Directed evolution is a proactive method to be used by a company engaged in the development of new products and processes. The method is for the preparation of a comprehensive set of scenarios that allows for the planning and ongoing development of future generations of technological systems. The objective of this paper is to present Directed Evolution as a method, including its historical background, basic assumptions, procedure, and examples of its application. |
