| Abstract: | This article investigates the relationship between the organizational form and the productivity of internal research and development (R&D) in several chemical enterprises. It becomes evident that the highest R&D productivity is achieved in companies whose R&D is organized largely centrally and by the formation of competence centers globally orientated. |
