Abstract: | The author states that this is true not only for companies in search of excellence, or committed to a technological leadership strategy, but also for organisations simply committed to maintaining their competitive position (i.e., their market share), or even fighting for mere survival. Innovation and technology become therefore crucial features of every choice of strategic management. Very often, however, technological innovation does not lead to the (commercial) success of the company considered. To maximize the result of every innovative strategy, a lot of tasks need to be coped with by the companies' management. It can be said, that companies need to 'refine' their technology management and innovation modes, both in efficiency and effectiveness. |
