Abstract: | There are two main objectives of strategy, positioning to compete and creating a climate to support implementation. A taxonomy is proposed which is all about creating an environment to leverage employee behaviours by linking them to their firm's intentions. It is specifically targeted toward the managers directly responsible for creating and sustaining such an environment. As a result, it is the most important thing a manager can do. The taxonomy is based on six Cs: 1. Culture, 2. Coalignment, 3. Core competencies, 4. Connection, 5. Customer value, and 6. Communication. |
