| Abstract: | This paper deals with the articulation of a single ethical decision - whether or not to mislead participants in a business situation through telling a lie. In specific, this paper argues that three market characteristics, the economics of information, the framing of buying decisions, and the market value of trust, inspire the telling of business lies. |
