| Abstract: | This paper reflects on some of the ways in which narrative approaches might contribute towards a better understanding of organizational (hereafter as: org-al.) knowledge management (KM) (for 'knowledge' as: kn.). It contributes to the debate on the nature and significance of the contextual features of org-al. knowledge, particularly the role of tacit kn., and identifies some of the distinctions btw. formal and informal kn. transfer mechanisms, which operate - with or without effective management - within organizations. |
