Abstract:This article inroduces a model for employing Value-Transparency (V-T) to supply relationships, which have usually assumed a hierarchy wherein customers specify and demand suppliers to conform or acquiesce. The new model might prove to be a resource for exploiting and expanding the innovative capabilities for customers and suppliers. The application of V-T is an alternative to the institution-based processes of traditional customer-supplier hierarchy.
