| Abstract: | The demands of tourism and climate change pose challenges to the environment of recreational destinations. This paper concentrates on the impacts of environmental management strategies, environmental restrictions and visitors' choice making behavior using recreational fishing as a case example. The analyzed data was collected from 347 regular campers and fishers in Ningaloo Marine Park Australia to determine the tolerance thresholds related to destination change. The results of this paper aim to develop tourism management and planning toward mutual understanding and more sustainable practices. |
