| Abstract: | The study examines the differences of revealed and normative preferences. The study was made identifying five factors that are passive choice, complexity, limited personal experience, third-party marketing, and intertemporal choice that often creates a wedge between revealed preferences and normative preferences. Also six factors that can be used to measure normative preferences when they deviate from revealed preferences are discussed. As a result the gap between normative and revealed preferences was modelled. |
