Abstract: | The article argues that knowledge management technology(KMT) is socially constituted in use and built on the affordances and limitations of the technology. It is further argued that knowledge, too, is socially constructed and needs to have the elements of challenge and surprise to routine. A case study of British Council's knowledge management program in the years 1998-2003 is conducted to investigate the social construct of KMT. |
