| Abstract: | The article explores what effect employment status as a permanent employee or agency worker has on normative job and co-worker commitment. A study of four metal companies' employees in the Netherlands was conducted. The findings indicate that agency workers and permanent employees have similar commitment levels to their co-workers and to their job. Only affective commitment to co-workers is lower for agency workers that for permanent employees. |
