Abstract: | This conceptual paper presents theoretical and methodological considerations for tourism research. Some key phenomenological approaches are set historically and within specific research paradigms. Herein, it is focused on the differing ontological and epistemological views of Edmund Husserl and Martin Heidegger. Examples are offered in order to elucidate the importance of situating one's philosophical assumptions in research etc. related to tourism. |
