| Abstract: | A host of agency difficulties is analyzed in which a principal,responsible for production decisions, delegates relevant information gathering to an agent.At the core is the value of sample outcomes and signals in better contracts offered by the principal. Agents in this contexts could be market researchers, political pollsters, surveyors and corporate auditors, among many other professionals. |
