| Abstract: | A review of engineering practice related to the Italian character. The author argues that individual ingenuity and intuition outweigh the approach and collective methods, and outlines the Italian cultural and historical background as an explanation for Italy's slowness in converting to modern culture. Four Tables are given on the value of Italian technical services and turnkey contracts, percentage division by sector, invoicing and percentage of overall turnover. |
