| Abstract: | Liberty Industries specialized in wood products in 1964. When the 3-person firm decided to increase field-sales, it hired a marketing manager.Sales rose more than 13 times between 1972-1979. The early 1980s brought frustrations and concern. A Strategic/Planning Management Committee was formed to examine past successes and failures and to work out a long-term strategic plan. Now the firm's future seems more promising than ever before. |
