| Abstract: | Because of the progress of telecommunication technology, coupled with the rapid proliferation of microcomputers, local area networks have played an increasingly important role in todays business information systems. They not only improve the internal communication capabilities, but also facilities office automation by integrating office equipment. Therefore, more and more organizations are adopting this technology to improve the productivity of their office employees. Technical and managerial issues of implementation are reviewed. |
