Abstract:The concept of quality can be applied to the marketing field and, particularly to the market analysis managed by the company. The market quality can be analyzed by taking into account the constitutive elements of a product-market couple: the market through its volume, accessibility and growing potential rate; the product the company has the intention to put into the market, and the company management marketing. The quality of one market will be different for two companies: this is due to the fact that what is good for one company might be negative for another one. This strategic analysis is based on the prism-effect approach.
