| Abstract: | The actual share of benefits which will accurate to multinational corporations and less developed countries is determined by their relative bargaining strength and skills. It is argued that multinational corporations will find the governments of less developed countries more pragmatic and less ideological than in the 1970s. However success in reaching mutually beneficial agreements will require more flexibility on the part of the multinational corporations in accomodating the economic needs and aspirations of the less developed countries. |
