| Abstract: | Value chain have played an extraordinary role in Japan's global procurement and logistical strategy and have encouraged to rich the world's leadership in steel export. The unique nature of Japan's procurement and logistical system have created significant economies of scale by virtue of industrywide cooperation and learning, and through supplier-buyer arrangements that offered all the benefits of vertical integration without its disadvantages. |
