Abstract:Managers and staff have to understand the part data processing plays in their business. Many companies have set up private networks for their members. Renault's system resulted big savings and quicker reaction. Telecommunications firms concentrate on services while data processing vendors on applications. Any employee of IBM can use the corporate network. Xerox makes an effort to change its image. Networks work in offices with little tolerance of faults.
