Abstract:The position of company market researchers is examined. Company researchers often suffer from an identity crisis as they are not certain of their roles, their economic futures, and the stability of their profession. Their position and salaries relative to marketing executives increase this feeling of insecurity. The possible solution to their problems is discussed.
